Artale was founded by two siblings who share a love of art and a passion for stories: Nomy, a creative writer and editor, and Yossi, an entrepreneur with a background in data scientist and psychology.

Artale's first game, The Magic Horn, is a collaborative project with London's Wallace Collection whose education team helped to tailor the game to the unique qualities and needs of the collection. The story and elements of the game were developed with the brilliant children on the Wallace's Young Curators programme, an innovative scheme for local schoolchilden intended to help foster a love of the arts.

Nomy and Yossi have been joined by Jacky Klein, an art historian, writer and former curator at London's Tate, Courtauld and Hayward galleries, who brings with her a wealth of experience in the art and publishing worlds. Artale's team also includes a talented and growing roster of designers, illustrators, UX specialists and animators, whose skills and passion are invaluable to the success of each game.
